On April 6th, Ash Creek Homes rolled out the red carpet (literally!) at our ‘Livin’ it Up by the Lake’ 40th Anniversary Bash to Benefit Community First! Village in Rough Hollow (Lakeway, Texas). As the doors opened, the first 35 guests got to pick out Kendra Scott swag courtesy of Patten Title. With nearly 200 of our friends, vendors, partners and homeowners, we celebrated forty years building homes in the ATX in style.
The Damn Torpedoes, a Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Tribute Band, rocked the house with their incredible sound and energy. As soon as they started playing, jaws hit the floor because the band’s frontman Ty is a literal vocal ringer for Tom Petty.
The weather was perfect that evening with a lovely breeze, so we opened the huge garage doors in the event space, so guests could enjoy the music and soak up gorgeous hill country views from the patios. That’s the beauty of Rough Hollow, which is exactly why we’re so excited about The Point at Rough Hollow, our next new home community which is currently in the site development phase. If you drive by the roundabout at Baldovino Skyway and Highlands Boulevard, you’ll see the incredible retaining walls that under construction and the magnificent hill country views!
The food catered by Buenos Aires Cafe was delish and boy, did it go fast! Our gals from DrinkSlingers were serving guests with a smile and everyone loved the tasty treats from Haley Cakes & Cookies. Outside, Britni Call with Britni Call Photography was taking headshots of guests as they arrived and she took wonderful party pics throughout the night. Inside, Austin Silly Artists were sketching caricatures of guests, which were hilarious and a fun keepsake.
Since a 40th Anniversary Bash is a big deal, we had to raise our glasses and toast to Ash Creek Homes. Ash Creek Homes’ Marketing Director, Cathy Hale, toasted — and gently roasted — the Ash Creek Homes founders and long-time employees. Next up, Ash Creek Homes’ president, Jenna Edge, shared the exciting news about our next new “coming soon” community in West Cedar Park. Partygoers got to see a sneak peek of the new community in West Cedar Park that will be breaking ground later this year. Yay!
As promised, for every person who attended, Ash Creek Homes is donating $10 to Community First! Village, a non-profit in Austin that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. We’ve been supporting this organization for many years by donating and building tiny homes. We will present them with a $1,760 donation in June.
And last but certainly not least, the evening wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible Event and Advertising Partners. We’ve been working with many of these folks for years and years. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of them!
