It was a beautiful day for an afternoon “vista” in Honey Creek! Thanks to all of our guests and sponsors who joined us as we celebrated the grand opening of our brand new model home this past weekend. Honey Creek is a luxury boutique community — only 30 homes total! — across from Lake Travis high school.

The exteriors in Honey Creek are inspired by Santa Barbara architecture with red barrel tile roofs, Juliet balconies and fun pops of accents colors.  The interiors are open and roomy, with living areas that are perfect for entertaining. Every home in the community has amazing hill country views too.

The newly opened model home boasts interior selections from Floor King and Kent Moore Cabinets, appliances from FBS Factory Builder Stores and stunning decor from the award-winning Mary DeWalt Design Group. Our other vendors and sponsors who helped make this event (and the model home) possible were Winstead Attorneys, Infinity Design, Power House Electrical Services, Keith Barker Roofing & Solar and CB Hardware.

Guests were treated to a variety of goodies throughout the day including swag from Kent Moore Cabinets, tasty bites from La Bodega Gourmet and Con’ Olio Oils & Vinegars. Local artist Becca Borrelli was illustrating one of her original works right in front of guests in the luxurious master bedroom with plenty of hill country views for inspiration. The piece was raffled off to one lucky winner!

In addition to the raffle prizes, the most popular event swag was the Kent Moore hats and Becca’s business cards that feature tiny illustrations on the back. The meatballs from La Bodega were delish and the Cara Cara Orange from Con’ Olio was divine.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us for this event. If you’re buying a new home in the Lakeway area or relocating to Austin, stop by for your own private “vista” in Honey Creek.
